VeeFriends is excited to announce our apparel collaboration dropping on Oct. 7th with New York womenswear designer, Kim Shui in an upcoming bespoke limited capsule collection featuring the VeeFriends character — Driven Dragon.
Meet Kim Shui
Born in America and raised in Italy by Chinese parents, Kim uses her distinct background to create truly eclectic designs. With hard work, dedication, and creativity, Kim’s work has a distinct style that intertwines traditional Chinese heritage with Western style influence in dynamic and empowering ways showcased through beautifully crafted designs.
Kim Shui has become the New York “it” designer, with her unique style being worn by Kylie Jenner, Lizzo, Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa, and many more. Kim is featured in Forbes 30 under 30 list and her clothing is sold in top designer stockists, such as SSENSE and Kith.
The Driven Dragon Collection was born out of mutual admiration Kim and Gary had for each other’s work and for their embodiment of the trait — Driven.

In this limited apparel capsule collection, VeeFriends character Driven Dragon takes the main stage. Kim is known for tying Dragon imagery in some of her work and deeply aligns with being “driven”, not only in her profession but in life. This became the perfect character to cross over into the fashion world and be elevated by Kim Shui’s work.
