In the world of Eternia, two legendary structures hold immense power: Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain. For those unfamiliar, Castle Grayskull is an ancient fortress that safeguards the very essence of the universe, known as the “Power of Grayskull.” Whoever commands this fortress can claim mastery over the entire universe. This medieval and tech-inspired castle is fortified by enchantments and armaments, concealing a wealth of ancient artifacts, weapons, and gateways to other realms, all framed by its iconic skull entrance.
However, standing opposite Castle Grayskull is Snake Mountain. Snake Mountain is the most ancient structure in Eternia. It is an eerie dwelling that serves as the home of Skeletor and a temple for the Snake Men, adorned with serpent motifs and organic elements from the natural world. These two structures define the landscape of Eternia.
About VeeFriends Series 2 Token Scene Swaps
Last month, VeeFriends introduced a revolutionary concept that enables you to transform your VeeFriends Series 2 tokens by changing their scene or background. This transformation is non-reversible, permanently altering the appearance and metadata of your Series 2 tokens. Each of these tokens is a unique 1/1 artwork, and this uniqueness will persist even as new scenes are introduced to the VeeFriends universe.
To ensure the integrity of each token, technical parameters are implemented to prevent duplicates of characters, scenes, or poses, preserving the exclusivity of all Series 2 tokens. For each pose of a specific character, whether classic, competing, evolving, manifesting, resting, or strategizing, only one Scene Swap opportunity is available. For example, if there are two holders of an Optimistic Otter in the Manifesting Pose, only one can swap the scene of their NFT. This approach ensures that only one combination of Character + Pose + Scene is created, ensuring the rarity and value of each token are retained.
Additionally,
- Gift Goat Series 2 is excluded from the character+pose+scene combo as each has a unique number tag, making them inherently 1 of 1s.
- Spectaculars are not eligible.
- Actively Competing Pose is not eligible
How to Participate in the VeeFriends x Masters of the Universe Scene Swap
Unlike our previous “Burn Island Scene Swap,” this one will not require a burn! Yep, you read that right: NO BURNING IS REQUIRED for this scene swap! Instead of burning, eligibility will be based on the Order ID from purchasing the new Masters of the Universe Origins™ Skeletor® & VeeFriends™ Skilled Skeleton™ 2-Pack.
Since there is no burn requirement, the flow of this swap will be slightly different than those in the past. See details below for what to expect:
1. Purchase the Product
To be eligible for the Scene Swap, you must have purchased the Masters of the Universe Origins™ Skeletor® & VeeFriends™ Skilled Skeleton™ 2-Pack. The product can be bought on 10/6 at 12PM ET via Mattel Creations Website while supplies last. To be eligible for this scene swap, the product must be purchased between October 6, 2023, at 12:00 PM EST — October 23, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST
2. Save your Order ID from Mattel
VeeFriends will require your order ID from Mattel to verify your eligibility for the Scene Swap. So, when you buy your 2-pack(s), make sure to keep a record of this order ID. Each unique order ID will allow for 1 scene swap. If you wish to do more than one scene swap with your VeeFriends Series 2 tokens, you must execute multiple purchases to obtain multiple order IDs.
3. Verify your Purchase with VeeFriends
When the Scene Swap becomes available, submit your Order ID on the dedicated page for eligibility verification.
4. Complete your Scene Swap
Once your eligibility is confirmed, follow the prompts to select the Series 2 token that you’d like to Scene Swap and complete your swap while supplies last. No burning of tokens is necessary for this scene swap.
Series 1 Skilled Skeleton Holders Swap for FREE!
Series 1 Skilled Skeleton Holders are eligible to redeem the Snake Mountain 2023 Scene Swap for each token they possess, following the same criteria as outlined in the previous swap process.
