Introducing Burn Island’s Treasure Chest
Burn Island’s Treasure Chest feature allows participants to peruse a range of exclusive treasures available at an attractive price for a limited time. Participants can burn the required NFTs on a first-come-first-served basis and while supplies last to acquire their desired treasure. The Treasure Chest is an exciting addition to Burn Island that merges the strengths of the BOOK GAMES Exchange while leveraging Burn Island’s technical framework.
The Treasure Chest Opens March 25th
The island is eager to reveal its Treasure Chest for the first time, which will offer 16 diverse rewards at nearly impossible prices outside of Burn Island.
The Treasure Chest:
- Treasures are available on a first-come, first-served basis. While supplies last.
- Treasures are available for a limited time
- Each treasure has unique burn requirements. Some require specific holdings and burn criteria, while others have a designated number of BOOK GAMES tokens. For each item, check the burn requirements for redemption listed under the respective item.

Tips for Claiming Different Types of Treasure
Physical Treasures
When burning for physical treasures, there are two steps required.
- Step 1. Submit the required NFT for burning through Burn Island.
- Step 2: Once the burn is successful, you are automatically redirected to the VeeFriends Shop to enter/update your shipping address to complete your checkout.
After completing these steps, you’ll receive an order confirmation email and another email once the physical treasure is shipped.
Digital Treasures
When burning for digital treasures such as NFTs, there are two things to know:
First, NFT treasures in the Treasure Chest are delivered to your account’s default digital wallet. Before clicking “Burn,” you will see this wallet address populated and a link to change your default wallet if you wish. Please note that all Treasure Chest treasures are first come, first served. if you leave this page to change your default wallet, the treasure won’t be reserved for you.
To get the NFT treasure with minimal issues, we suggest visiting your VeeFriends.com profile and setting your preferred default wallet in advance. Simply navigate to “WALLETS” within your profile, locate your desired wallet, and click “Set Default.” After completing this process, the page will refresh, and you’ll notice a gold star next to your newly selected default wallet.
Second, please note that NFT transfers are not instantaneous. All NFT treasures will be delivered to your default wallet within 72 hours of successful burning. If you have any questions, please contact support@veefriends.com.
BOOK GAMES Rarity Refresher
With the launch of Treasure Chest, which requires the burning of BOOK GAMES tokens, it’s important to refresh the structure of the BOOK GAMES Collection. The BOOK GAMES collection has 16 distinct artworks, inspired by the VeeFriends Series 1 Just Art Category Among these artworks are three special characters — Koala 2025, Paper Hands Pony, and Time Machine Tiny Ogre — considered the rarest tokens of the collection. Additionally, the collection features 15 unique frames and 5 Spectacular backgrounds, each with varying rarity. BOOK GAMES NFTs live on IMX, a layer-2 network on Ethereum, and can be found on the marketplace, TokenTrove. TokenTrove offers comprehensive filters to explore the collection, including attributes, series, spectacular backgrounds, and token frames.

How This Treasure Chest Operates & How to Burn
Participating in a Treasure Chest exchange is straightforward, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. Here’s a breakdown of how it works specifically for Burn Island Treasure Chest:
1. Eligibility: To take part in Burn Island Treasure Chest, you must ensure you meet the eligibility requirements. You will need to burn BOOK GAMES tokens for this particular first set of treasures.
2. Burning Tokens: Once you’ve confirmed your eligibility, you can start burning your tokens. Burning involves exchanging your tokens for unique rewards.
3. Confirmation: When you decide to burn tokens, you’ll need to take a couple of confirmation steps. First, you must “confirm” in IMX, and then “sign” in Metamask or another non-custodial wallet to verify the action. It’s crucial not to navigate away from the Burn Island page during this process. You’ll receive an on-screen notification once the token burn has been confirmed.
4. Burn Completed: After the burn is confirmed, you’ll be redirected to the Burn Island main page. It may take a brief moment (approximately 5–10 seconds) for the receipt of your burn to display.
- You’ll need access to the wallet holding your token to complete the burn
- IMX burns work on desktop only
- Please have all tokens being burnt in the same wallet at the time of burn
- For IMX, please ensure you’re connecting to the VeeFriends site with the wallet holding the required tokens.
