This exclusive wine features a highly popular character that sets to produce the “rarest” collaboration in the lineage, introducing the 2021 Napa Valley Rare Robot Red Blend!
About the Wine
The 2021 Napa Valley Rare Robot Red Blend is a rich ruby red in color and was aged for a year in oak barrels. The wine has the infrastructure and complexity to last 10, 15, and even 20 years if you choose to hold it as a collector’s item. However, this wine can easily be a celebratory dinner wine that pairs deliciously with roasted duck, turkey, caramelized roasted vegetables, hard cheeses, and lean cuts of beef.
The Rare Robot Red is a blend of majority Merlot with a touch of Zinfandel, and a bit of Pinot Grigio to affect the aromatics. The aroma consists of black cherries, blackberries, plums, cocoa, clove, and cedar. On the palate, the wine showcases the same flavors along with fig, dried cranberry, and sweet cigar. The tannins are chewy with a long finish.
